Dr. Suma C

Dr. Suma C is a Consultant - Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Columbia Asia Hospital, Hebbal, Bangalore. She completed her MBBS and M.D. (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), both from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore University, India in the year 1987 and 1994 respectively. She has been working in the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics since 22 years now and has served as a Professor in Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, and Visiting Consultant at M.S. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital before joining Columbia Asia Hospital in Hebbal. Apart from Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she also enjoys expertise in Laparoscopic sterilization. She has presented papers and posters at A.I.C.O.G. and has attended CME’s organized by B.S.O.G. every year. Dr. Suma C is a member of F.I.G.O. and B.S.O.G. She has always been actively involved in training and teaching medical undergraduates and postgraduate students, clinical meetings, case discussions, Journal Clubs, and seminars. Dr. Suma C has expertise in procedures namely normal and instrumental deliveries, Caesarian deliveries and Hysterectomies (both abdominal and vaginal) etc.
