Dr. Subodh Raju

A Consultant in the department of Neurosurgery in Kamineni Hospital, Dr. Raju has several years of experience in his field. He is also a visiting consultant at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad and heading the Department of Neurosurgery at Virinchi Hospitals. Prior to Kamineni Hospital, Dr. Subodh Raju was attached as a consultant neurosurgeon at Saumya Apollo Hospital, Vijayawada. He completed his M.B.B.S. from V.S.S. Medical College, Burla, Sambalpur University, Orissa; M.S. (General surgery), V.S.S. Medical College, Burla, Sambalpur University, Orissa, and M.Ch. (Neurosurgery), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

Over the years, Dr. Raju gained expertise in Cerebrovascular Surgeries -all types of anterior circulation aneurysms, AVM’s, ECA-MCA bypass surgeries, cerebral revascularisation; Intracranial Tumour Surgeries (gliomas, meningiomas, adult and pediatric infratentorial tumors); Surgeries for spinal tumors and congenital spinal disorders.

Dr. Subodh Raju has also done some collaborative trials and basic genetic research on problems affecting the outcome in trauma and degenerative diseases.
