Dr. SS Murthy

Dr. SS Murthy is an Osmania University graduate. He completed his MBBS from this university and then went on for his post graduation(DNB) to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. He completed his PG in Internal Medicine in the year 1995. Deciding on his superspecialization, he completed his DNB in Cardiology in 1999 from the National Heart Institute, New Delhi. For more than 10.5 years, Dr. S.S. Murthy has been associated with Escorts Heart Institute. He has been working on clinical and invasive cardiology from the past 18 years. Coronary & Peripheral interventions and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) are the areas of cardiology where his main interest lies. He works on pacemaker implantations, device closures, ICD & COMBO implantations, peripheral stenting and valvuloplasties apart from the 300 angioplasties and 10,000 angiographies performed by him so far
