With degrees of MS (General Surgery), M.Ch (Neurosurgery), MNAMS, and DNB (Neurosurgery), Dr. Pankaj Kumar Jha is a Senior Visiting Consultant of the Department of Neurosurgery. Prior to joining this hospital, Dr. Jha was a Visiting Consultant at the Moolchand Hospital, as well as the Batra Hospital, and a Senior Resident at AIIMS. With a clinical experience of over 15 years in the field of Brain and Spine Surgery, he has a special interest in Neurovascular Diseases, Aneurysm Surgery, and Awake Craniotomy for Brain Tumors. He has also successfully treated Degenerative, Traumatic, Neoplastic (Tumors) conditions, Disc Prolepsis of Cervical, Thoracic & Lumbar Spine, with or without fixation devices, and various other Tumors (Ependymoma, Astrocytoma, Hemangioblastoma, Meningioma).
Dr. Jha was instrumental in starting Brain and Spine Operations in East Delhi, Noida and smaller towns of NCR of Delhi. His important research works include “Clinical Epidemiological and Pathological Study of Gall Bladder Disease”, “Role of Microvascular Doppler in the Surgery of Intracranial Aneurysms”, “Hyponatremia in patients of Spontaneous Subarachnoid Hemorrhage”, and many more.
Dr. Jha has participated in several conferences, including the National Symposium on Cancer Update in 1993, Hematological society of India in 1994, International Congress of Surgeon in 1994, National Update on Neurosurgery in 1997, Symposium on Posterior Fossa Surgery in 1998, NEUROCON at Trivendrum in 1998, NEUROCON at Hyderabad in 1999, Neurotrauma at Agra in 2002, NEUROCON at Chandigarh in 2003 and many more. An acclaimed surgeon, he has been bestowed with several awards, including the best paper presentation in WEZCON (International Congress of Surgeons) in the year 1994. He is a member of various renowned organizations, including the National Symposium on Cancer Update, Hematological Society of India, and the International Congress of Surgeons.
