Dr. Jyoti Wadhwa is a well known name in the list of some of the most brilliant and knowledgeable oncologists in the country. She is working as the Director of Medical and Hemato Oncology, Cancer Institute at the Medanta Cancer Institute, Medanta-The Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon. Her area of expertise includes lung cancer, head & neck cancers, brain tumors, breast cancer and gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. Jyoti Wadhwa completed her MBBS in 1992 from Lady Hardinge Medical College, University of Delhi, New Delhi then she attained her MD in Internal Medicine in 1996 and DM in Medical Oncology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in 2000. She also went to the Hammersmith Hospital, London, UK to attain clinical training in Hematological Malignancies including Cell Transplant. Formerly, she has worked as an Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology at the Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital at AIIMS; Deputy Secretary and CME coordinator at the National Academy of Medical Sciences. Dr. Jyoti Wadhwa has also authored a book on breast cancer and holds numerous other publications in some of the reputed national & international journals. She has been awarded with Sir Shriram Memorial Award by the National Academy of Medical Sciences in 2008 for her excellence in medical field and for her finest published work on Community Medicine (Community Health). She is also a member of Delhi Medical Association (DMA).
