Dr. Anita Ramesh

Dr. Anita Ramesh is an oncologist in HCG Cancer Centre Chennai. She also practices at Apollo Speciality Hospitals Vanagaram. She has more than 16 years of experience in the field of medical and hemato oncology. Her area of interest lies in cancer management and treatment. She has been a known oncologist in the field of Adult Medical Oncology, Pediatric Oncology and Peripheral Blood Cell Transplant (PBSCT) from the last 12 years. Dr. Anita Ramesh completed MBBS from Calcutta University, MD in Radiotherapy from Banaras Hindu University, DNB in Radiotherapy from National Board of Examinations New Delhi, DM in Medical Oncology from DR.MGR Medical University followed by M.Sc. in Oncology from University of Nottingham, UK. Further, she has undertaken a fellowship in Paediatric Oncology from the International Outreach Programme. Dr. Anita Ramesh is actively associated to various organizations including International Society of Pediatric Oncology, Indian Academy of Paediatrics, American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society of Medical Oncology, and Cell Research Committee of Sri Ramachandra Medical College. She is also linked to United Kingdom Children Cancer Study Group as a Corresponding Member. Dr. Anita Ramesh’s hard work and sincere attitude towards his career led him to attend and present a paper in the ECCLU 2009 Educational Convention to be held at Lugano, Switzerland. She was also awarded International Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia Foundation Fellowship in Imperial College London.
