Dr. Anil Mandhani

Dr Anil Mandhani is a Urologist and Uro Cancer Surgeon serving as a Executive Director of the Kidney and Urology department at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. He is a well-known surgeon who specializes in Robotic Surgery, Renal Transplantation, Endo-Urological Surgery and Uro-oncology. He completed MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College - Chhattisgarh, M.Ch. in Urology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences - Lucknow, and DNB in Urology from National Board of Examinations New Delhi. Further, Dr Anil Mandhani has undertaken a clinical fellowship in Robotic Uro Oncology from Cornell and New York Presbyterian Hospital and American College of Surgeons, USA. Dr Anil Mandhani is actively associated with various organizations such as European Urological Association, American Urological Association, Urological Society of India, and British Association of Urological Surgeons. Dr Anil Mandhani is a recipient of various awards and achievements. They are DUSUCON North zone urological society of India for Best Research Work Award, DUSUCON award on best clinical work on PSA characteristic in prostate cancer, and ‘Best paper award’ on 'prediction of Fragility of stone by DEXA' in a national conference of Urology. Prior to Medanta, Dr Anil Mandhani has served as a Professor in Urology Department at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences - Lucknow and Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Science Tirupati. He has also worked at Fortis Hospital Gurgaon as a Chairman of Urology Department.
