Dr. Anantha Subramaniam

Dr. Anantha Subramaniam is a Senior Consultant - General Medicine in Apollo Hospital, Greams Lane, Chennai and has an experience of over 57 years.He completed MBBS from Madras University, Chennai, India in 1955 and MS - General Surgery from Madras University, Chennai, India in 1960. Later he went to pursue his fellowship from American College of Cardiology and American College of Angiology.

Prior to practicing at Apollo Hospital, Dr. Anantha has contributed to various prestigious hospitals like Stanley Medical College & Madras Medical College, Government Royapettah Hospital, Madras as a Dean-in-Charge for 5 years. He has also been a Director at Madras Medical College & Government General Hospital and Institute of Internal Medicine, Madras Medical College, Madras. Due to his commitment in his field, he has many recognitions and awards to his credit. He has been awarded the Government Royapettah Hospital (1984-89) and 25 years of meritorious community service. Dr. Anantha has also bagged an Achievement Award Deputy Governor, Board of Governors and Man of the Year 1995 Award Organized Intensive Coronary care unit in Government Stanley Hospital.
